Researches & results
(1)Studied the extinction of the reef ecosystem in Ziyun, Guizhou Province, southwestern China at the end of the Permian, and found that the extinction of reef ecosystem at the end of the Permian happened in two steps: firstly, the extinction of all stenotropic organisms such as calcisponges and fusulinids in the Clarkina yini conodont zone, and secondly, the disappearance of microgastropod-dominated biota or algal mats at the beginning of the Hindeodus parvus zone. see: WU Ya Sheng, FAN Jia Song, JIANG Hong Xia & YANG Wan. IN CHINESE: 1984年获南京大学理学学士学位,专业为古生物学与地层学;1987年获中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所理学硕士学位,研究方向为碳酸盐岩与生物礁;2002年在职获中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所理学博士学位,以及方向为古代全球环境变化与生物演化。硕士导师是中国著名生物礁专家范嘉松研究员;博士导师是国际古生物学会副主席、中国科学院院士金玉玕先生。2002年11月-2003年6月受国家教委资助在Texas A & M 大学地质系做高级访问研究,在国际著名碳氧同位素地质学专家E. Grossman教授那里做碳酸盐岩和腕足动物化石的碳氧同位素研究。 1987年留所工作至今。1994年特批晋升为中国科学院地质与地球物理研究所副研究员。1999年中国科学院实施创新工程后一直在担任创新副研究员岗位至今。从2005年起担任中国古生物学会理事。 1998年以前主要从事生物礁研究,着重于各门类造礁生物的系统古生物学研究、礁群落古生态学研究、礁体沉积学研究。近年来主要从事古代全球环境变化与生物演化研究。研究经历包括蜓(应为:虫筳)化石与二叠纪生物地层学、钙质海绵化石的古生物学和古生态学、二叠纪-三叠纪生物礁的古生物学和沉积学、碎屑岩和碳酸盐岩的成岩作用、新生代前全球海平面变化幅度的定量研究、二叠纪-三叠纪界线地层(PTB)的牙形刺生物地层学、腕足动物化石和碳酸盐岩全岩样品的碳氧同位素研究、生物礁相区PTB地层的生物与环境演化研究等。 主持过3项、参加过3项国家自然科学基金项目:《二叠纪生物礁疑难宗教生物研究》、《根据生物礁定量计算长兴期全球海平面变化幅度》、《生物礁相区的环境和生物演化》 承担和完成1项中国科学院资源与环境重大项目(K2951-B1-409)的子项目:《二叠纪乐平世生物礁群落演化》 承担和完成现代古生物学和地层学国家重点实验室开放基金项目开放基金1个:《江西修水生物礁顶二叠系-三叠系界线地层的环境和生物演化》(项目号053102) 承担和完成中国石油天然气总公司现代储层研究重点实验室开放基金1个:《贵州紫云晚二叠系生物礁顶白云岩流体运移模式》 承担和完成中国石油天然气总公司长庆油田分公司项目3个:《靖安油田西南区长6储层非均质性三维定量描述》、《长庆下古生代奥陶纪马家沟组储层成岩相》、《储层描述新技术探索研究》。 正在承担中国石油、中国石化项目2个:《苏里格气田苏6加密井区储层精细描述研究》、《塔中地区南坡奥陶系生物演化与礁滩相形成条件》。 以第一作者在核心刊物发表地质学方面的学术论文50余篇,出版英文版学术专著2部。曾获中国地质学会优秀论文奖。参加的项目获中国科学院科学进步二等奖。 主要研究成果:(1)确定了二叠纪末生物礁生态系集群灭绝发生的模式是二步式的(Wu et al., 2007)。第一步是所有狭适性生物的灭绝,发生在二叠纪末期的Clarkina yini带;第二步是广适性生物的灭绝,发生在三叠纪最初的Hindeodus parvus带。 (2)在二叠纪-三叠纪之交全球海平面变化研究中取得重要进展。国外学者(Wignall and Hallam, 1992, 1997) 提出二叠纪-三叠纪之交全球海平面只有上升,没有下降;是海平面上升造成海洋缺氧, 缺氧导致二叠纪末的生物大绝灭。 但是,本人在2001-2003年对贵州紫云生物礁顶部的2个P-T界线地层剖面的研究中,发现了海平面下降的证据(Wu & Fan, 2003);2005年,在江西修水的P-T界线地层中也发现了海平面下降的证据(吴亚生等,2006, 岩石学报,12期);2006年,在重庆老龙洞的P-T界线地层中再次发现海平面下降的证据(吴亚生等,2006,岩石学报,9期)。海平面下降证据在不同地区的P-T界线地层中的发现,证明外国学者抱持的P-T之交只有海平面上升的认识是不正确的。 (3)在贵州紫云的P-T界线地层中首次发现了一种适应缺氧环境的微生物化石(吴亚生等,2007,中国科学,中英文版)。 (4)在物种水平上研究了造礁生物房室海绵在二叠纪-三叠纪的演化,发现房室海绵在二叠纪末全部绝灭了,是一项填补空白的成果(吴亚生等,2002, 古生物学报)。 (5)提出了根据生物礁定量计算新生代前全球海平面变化幅度的方法。 定量计算新生代前的全球海平面变化幅度一直是地质学的难题。本人提出的根据生物礁结构相以及某些特殊的成岩相定量计算古代全球海平面变化幅度的方法(Wu & Fan, 2002;Wu & Fan, 2003)初步解决了这一难题。 (6)发现牙形刺生物群在二叠纪-三叠纪之交有一个滞后的集群绝灭事件,否定了前人的二叠纪-三叠纪之交牙形刺没有集群绝灭的看法(Wu,2005;该成果如Yin et al., 2007, Global and Planetary Change 55: 1-20) (7)全面修订了浙江煤山P-T界线金钉子剖面的牙形刺化石鉴定错误数十处(Wu, 2005,英文专著)。 (8)系统研究了广西隆林二叠纪生物礁的造礁生物和群落古生态,描述新属 68个新种44个(Wu, 1991)。有关成果已经被国外学者广泛引用。 (9)提出了生物礁结构相群落相和成岩相的研究方法(吴亚生,1992;Wu, 1992, 1993)。 代表性论著:以第一作者发表SCI期刊论文8篇国际刊物论文1篇: Wu Ya Sheng, Jiang Hong Xia, Yang Wan, Fan Jia Song, 2007, Microbialite of anoxic condition from Permian-Triassic transition in Guizhou, China.
