Review policy Traditional peer review policy is for finding errors in manuscripts and exclude poor-quality manuscripts. However, some innovative papers may be delayed delayed by peer-reviewing system.

To avoid of this shortcoming, EL rejected traditional peer-reviewing policy and adopted an revolutionary self-reviewing policy, which lets the author to ask an expert in the same or similar field and with publications to review one's manuscript and send an email to the journal to declare that he has reviewed the manuscript and would support it to be published, and that he/she agrees that his/her name will appear as reviewer at the end of the paper as it is published.

An option for experienced geoscientists is to apply for exempt from review requirement by writing email to EL to provide information on  research and publication background.

An author can also choose to provide 1 to 3 experts as potential reviewers and their email addresses for the journal to have it reviewed.

The key policy of EL is to publish any papers with new data or new opinions unless it has unquestionable academic or writing errors.
