To Readers：

Please set the "font size" in the menu of "view" of your IE as "medium", so that your PC has best display.

You can print web pages of the journal using the "print" command of the "file" menu of your IE, or save them to your computer for later printing them with software such as ACDSEE.

(1) You can download papers of Earth & Life (EL) for free. Please spread to your friends that, they can download them for free, too, and so can any ones. This would make your paper more popular.

 (2) Send us a resume including your educations, specialty, past and current researches, and publications, through email (to wys@mail.igcas.ac.cn, or jianghx@mail.igcas.ac.cn ), so that we consider to qualify you as a VIP scientist of EL. As a VIP scientist, your papers can be published without reviewing requirement.

 (3) When you find any errors in writing or contents of any papers of EL, just write an email to above email addresses to tell us. We will correct the errors and thank you in substantial ways. If you have any comments about the contents of any pages of EL, just write to the above email addresses. We will consider what you say and possibly publish it on EL. EL is a totally open journal: it is a free discussing forum!

(4) Considering Dr. Richard J. Twitchett's idea, from 1 No.2 of Vol. 1, a hyperlink is added to end of each paper/page to publish readers' comments on that paper/page (probably slightly edited). Reader's comments are a kind of evaluation of concerned paper's quality.
